Butter & Sage
Pictured here with our Traditional gnocchi.
4 Tbsp salted butter
6 large fresh sage leaves (and a few more for garnish)
1. Melt the butter slowly on low heat until brown. It should be a rich, caramel color and have a nutty aroma. It will take some time (20-30 minutes) so be patient.
2. Once the butter is beautifully brown, add the fresh sage leaves and let infuse for about 5 minutes.
