Di Fico Fig Jam!
Our Fig Jam was inspired by our Nonna's Mission fig tree. We kept the tradition alive and created a simple, delicious jam for your table. Once you taste our Fig Jam, you will be amazed by how rich and tasty it is. Not overly sugared, we added a touch of vanilla to bring out the earthy sweetness of the fruit.
When we first started making this jam, it was with figs from the 80-year-old tree that Stella planted on the family property when she arrived in this country from Italy. This beloved Matriarch tree produced the big, juicy Mission figs that made our jams so special. Today, we source our figs locally to make this backyard-fig jam.
Elevate your cheese platter, grazing board and charcuterie game with this jar of magic. This fig jam can be best friends with almost any cheese, whether a salty Manchego or Parmigiano Reggiano, a sharp Blue (Roquefort, Cabrales, Gorgonzola Piccante) or a creamy Brie.
Use it as the base for a fig balsamic vinaigrette or as a glaze over roasted pork or carrots. Naturally we love it paired with cheese and even spread on the bottom of a pizza.
