Fig 'n' Pig Pizza

Ingredients:

16 ounces of your favorite pizza dough
6-8 slices of prosciutto
1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3-4 ounces of arugula
2-3 tablespoons red wine vinegar or to taste
Shaved parmesan to taste

Instructions:

Form the dough into whatever shape you would like. Spread the fig jam on the dough leaving about 1/2" rim.

Spread olive oil lightly on the edges and then sprinkle the mozzarella over the fig jam. 

Bake at 475-degrees for 6-10 minutes depending on your oven and your desire of doneness.  

Once out of the oven, immediately place the prosciutto pieces across the whole pizza. Add the dressed arugula (mix with the rest of the olive oil and vinegar with a dash of salt to taste).

Add the shaved fresh parmesan to the top and enjoy.

 

*We like to use ready made Trader Joe's Pizza Dough to save time and it bakes beautifully.
