Essential Trio Crackers

Essential Trio Crackers

Makes approximately 75 crackers. 


1 3/4 cups flour

2/3 cup water

1/4 cup good olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoon Stella's Table Essential Pepper

2 teaspoons Stella's Table Essential Salt

1 tablespoon Stella's Table Essential Herb


Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 

Combine all ingredients in a mixer with a dough hook and mix until a soft dough is formed. Stop midway through and scrape the edges of the bowl to ensure all ingredients combined.

Remove the dough from the bowl and place onto a lightly-floured surface.  Cut into 3 even pieces. 

To one third, add the Essential Herb and knead the dough until smooth, approximately 2 minutes.  Repeat this process for the remaining two pieces using the Essential Pepper for one and the Essential Salt for the last piece. 

Form each into a ball and cover with a towel.  Let rest for 20 minutes. 

Roll each piece until very thin.  Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut into one-inch strips horizontally and then cut in half vertically.  Each cracker is approximately 1" by 4" in size.  You can cut whatever size or shape you prefer. 

Transfer the cut pieces onto a parchment-lined cooking sheet and then sprinkle with Essential Sea Salt. 

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are brown. 

Optional:  To ensure these crackers last longer and maintain their crunch, double bake by placing in a 200-degree oven for 60 minutes.  

Remove from the oven and let cool.  Place in an air-tight container.
